About Me
I am primarily a portrait and a wildlife artist. Pen & ink, charcoal, graphite, pastel, and to a lesser extent, acrylics and oils. I find architecture to be a particular challenge, but I may soon pick up the rapidograph and do some city scapes. I also won't do portraits in ink anymore as it is so time consuming and one litle 'splat' and you've lost countless hours of work.
What I hope to accomplish is to create something every week and try to improve my skills since they've really been languishing in recent years.

That is an odd piece of paper. And for such a nice sketch. How coe the weird paper?
ReplyDeleteI found it in my sketch book with a cut-out so just used it as scrap. I did a commission (does it count if they never even paid you?) and I had 4 portraits together in the same frame, so oft will use a scrap template for the placement of the heads for the final pic.
